The Punisher - an obsessed killing machine - the personification of revenge. The soul of Frank Castle died when he and his family stumbled onto a mob rub-out and fell under a rain of lead. Castle's body alone survived, but his mind was lost in a desire to bring retribution on all those who need...Punishing.
A brutal cycle soon ensues as the Punisher is released from prison by a shadowy organization known as "The Trust" whose stock and trade are vigilantes. The Trust soon floods the streets of New York with Punisher lookalikes to slay the bosses of New York's crime families. A bloody war for succession soon follows and innocent people are caught in the crossfire. The one true Punisher now must make a tough decision on how to break this Circle of Blood.
