Victorian Act 4, Self-Overcoming No. 22
By Houghton & Wein, St. Aubin, Taylor, & Hi-Fi; cover Glen Orbik
In 1898, Lily White said farewell Laszlo Gerevich and returned to England to begin her mission: the assassination of Sigurson Ashe. She would not awaken until 1963, a time predicted by the Order to be the most vulnerable to Ashe's plans. But Lily's mission failed and she was assumed dead by the remaining order members... and Laszlo. And so Laszlo was awakened from cold sleep in 1999 to carry out the order's mission and stop Ashe once and for all. What Laszlo discovers in the streets of New Orleans, however, reveals the truth of Lily's 1963 mission and her "death."
