THIS ISSUE: On the trail of a stolen scroll connected to a thousand year-old secret society, master physicians Julien Sauniere and Genevieve Tournon head to France's national library. There they uncover a vital clue linking neo-classicalist painter Nicholas Poussin to the mysterious stolen scroll. Genevieve returns to the Duke of Lorraine's "cottage" and finds smoke coming from a chimney outside. But Lorraine's valet insists no fireplace is lit...And later that night, Julien receives a midnight visitor...
