CONCEPT: Eight million robots walk the streets, but this isn't science fiction. This is New York City, top to bottom, from a basement in the last Brooklyn ghetto to the clouds above a penthouse suite on Park Avenue. These are robots in agony, ecstasy and everything in between, searching for love, sex or just enough spare change to get them through the day.
THIS ISSUE: His name is Eric. Raised in the predatory wilds of advertising, Eric lives to make television commercials that will batter your wallet into submission. He glides through the movie of his own life, fueled by an abysmal appetite for pleasure at any price. Work has brought him to Manhattan and into the lives of Valeria and her brother Marco. When our heroes descend upon a Saturday night spot, will Marco be able to maintain his cop front amid Valeria's glitterati friends? And when Eric smells Marco's lies, how far will Marco go to keep Eric from blowing the lid off?
