In the wake of The Carnival Wars, Sebastian suffers guilt for having killed Marguerite, making everyone in his life disappear. This causes Moon Raven to believe she has the power of the Nosferatu, and that is was she who made the GloomCookies disappear, catching Vermilion's extreme interest. Meantime, Sebastian struggles with the responsibility of having such enormous power at his command.
