LAST MINUTEMEN STANDING
Three years ago, the mangled wreck of a man named Lono stumbled into Father Perez's church outside Durango, Mexico. What emerged from the padre's confessional was no longer one of the world's most feared killers - but he wasn't any kind of saint, either.
The newly christened Brother Lono stayed on to help Father Perez look after the church and its resident orphans, while spending nights in the local lockup when the beast within him threatened to break free.
You see, even though Lono found God, that doesn't mean he trusts Him. And he's got plenty of reasons to be paranoid. Las Torres Gemelas, Durango's ruthless drug cartel, is expanding its territory, and the church's undeveloped land is a tempting prize. Meanwhile, the DEA is probing for a way to get inside their operation. Blood is in the air, and the beast can smell it.
Things are heading for a classic Mexican standoff, with everyone aiming their guns squarely at Brother Lono. But none of them realize what they're about to unleash.
